Do the windows updates include all driver updates including the Intel Drivers?

I noticed that there are several updates for intel drivers like this one for example the Intel Pro Set Wireless.

Should I do the update or will this make problems with my wireless connection?

    I am Dave, I will help you with this.

    Windows updates will generally have updates for most of you hardware, however, if your WiFi is working correctly, I would advise you not to update the Intel WiFI drivers, it is rare, but sometimes Windows driver updates can cause problems with your hardware.

    If that were the case then why am I getting intel driver update notices plus I am getting an Intel badge popup stating that Intel Optane Memory is disabled.

    Hi Kenneth,

    Optane Memory is not connected to your Intel WiFi card, that is connected to either the drive on your PC or your RAM. please provide a screenshot of that Intel popup you are seeing.

    I will try to get a screenshot of the pop-up the next time it appears. Must be playing hide and seek with me LOL.

    Here are the apps associated with Intel which are located in all apps via the start menu.

    Hi Kenneth,

    The Intel Driver and Support Assistant utility should keep all your Intel drivers fully up to date without installing drivers from any other source.
