Come on now MS, restore the option to have a vertical taskbar!! Vertical screen space is super important, why wasting it with the taskbar?! I am already regretting upgrading to windows 11 - which I would not have done if not forced btw..
How to move taskbar to vertical position in windows 11?
How do I move the task bar from horizontal position to vertical position? Company just installed windows 11 and I can't seem to figure out how to move it.

2025-02-11T10:43:45+00:00 Dear Microsoft, Please this vertical taskbar is important to a lot of us. Why change it? Besiedes, I was even thinking you would make the taskbar a bit more transparent and even reduce the size of the icons so we can all see our screens perfectly.

2024-05-31T08:42:19+00:00 Seriously!? It's a joke that you can't change the taskbar in the system settings to fit vertically. There's nothing left to do but download the patch from github and, on occasion, implement a patch to block telemetry and scripts that track our work on the computer. I do not understand the approach of removing functionality that existed and was widely used in previous versions of Windows. It's probably time to switch 100% to another operating system like Linux.

2024-04-03T22:29:38+00:00 This is just another case of Microsoft being who they are: a mega-monopoly that does whatever it pleases b/c it is pretty much the ONLY player in the game! They obliterated virtually all competition and now they force you to "upgrade" when you really don't want to. IMO, Windows 7 was their absolute best OS; the software has gone steadily downhill ever since! And apparently, they don't care whether we beg, plead or holler at them for doing what they do, either way they won't listen. So I WON'T beg. I refuse. But I will express my vehement disdain for them. They don't care what I think anyway so why should I give them the satisfaction of asking them nicely to do something they KNOW they're never gonna do? IF and when they FINALLY do right by us, I'll give them due credit. But I'm not holding my breath.
