I can't understand why Microsoft has not incorporated a fix in Windows 11.

I have to thank Fernando Pinheiro1

    I installed the patch https://github.com/valinet/ExplorerPatcher

After running the setup you have to check that the application is in your startup so that it runs automatically when you boot your PC.

You can minimize the application so that it doesn't clutter your desktop thereafter.

From my perspective it works a treat.

Same problem. My organization forced me to update to Windows 11.

This is a clear productivity issue for me.

Postponing the upgrade to Windows 11 as long as possible on my personal laptop.

No, they are not kidding you. They are not making the taskbar adjustable. I mean why they have to call it task bar "behavior"(like it has mind of its own?) just to move START Windows icon to the left? The use of linguistics itself is creepy. If it ain't broke, we must brake...is their motto.
