I have managed to fix my "no output device" problem. Norton found the problem. There was an issue with the Intel Smart Sound Driver (version 10.23.3672.201). Norton revetered to the Intel Smart Sound Technology OED (version 10.23.0.4880)
How do i fix no audio device installed in windows 11?

ive tried troubleshooting but it couldnt identify the problem
ive also tried rebooting my device
i also cant update my high definition audio device which i want to use because the other one doesnt work too(windws encountered a problem installing the drivers for your device code 10)
my other audio driver is working fine but still it says no audio device installed(this audio driver is the one written in japanese)
ive also came to the intel website to look up for my drivers but it says its up to date

2023-11-29T21:18:19+00:00 I just bought a brand new HP laptop that came with Windows 11 installed. My sound worked fine for several days, then I got this No audio device installed message, so it's happening with brand new computers as well.

2023-11-29T23:32:27+00:00 ****?!!!! More reasons to go Mac. I wonder if your new HP was really pre-loaded with Win10 but someone somewhere upgraded it to Win11? Just guessing as nothing from Microsoft makes sense any more (if it ever did). If you ever resolve the problem without returning the computer for refund, please advise as I am still one computer short of sound and absolutely nothing posted in any of these communities has fixed it.

2023-11-29T23:42:19+00:00 I notice your last screen shot says "device cannot start", which is a lot different from the "no audio device installed" message the rest of us sufferers have. Sounds like something corrupted your driver(s), maybe it was even Norton itself. Anyway that makes your problem totally different. Glad your machine has recovered sound; mine and many others have not and just FYI some version of Norton are notorious for breaking something then fixing it so they can pretend to be fixers when they are not. Scammers abound in the world of Norton, but that's another story for another day.

2023-11-30T14:53:16+00:00 I didn't have a screen shot, I replied to someone else's post. Did you try this driver? Intel Smart Sound Technology OED (version 10.23.0.4880) That is what did the trick. I have an HP Spectre that was running Windows 10 when I bought it years ago and upgraded to 11 without problem. My issue happened when I updated drivers.
