How do i fix no audio device installed in windows 11?

ive tried troubleshooting but it couldnt identify the problem
ive also tried rebooting my device
i also cant update my high definition audio device which i want to use because the other one doesnt work too(windws encountered a problem installing the drivers for your device code 10)
my other audio driver is working fine but still it says no audio device installed(this audio driver is the one written in japanese)
ive also came to the intel website to look up for my drivers but it says its up to date

    I have the same problem. After accepting upgrade to Win11, I lost my sound DEVICE. I'm writing word DEVICE in caps because everywhere I search the question, "How do I re-install my sound DEVICE", I see thousands of responses on how to re-install the device DRIVER, but none on the DEVICE. The DEVICE is what we used to call The Sound Card. The DRIVER is what makes the DEVICE work after the OS system recognizes there is a sound DEVICE. If you have no DEVICE, there is no use trying to find the DRIVER for it. In summary, it looks like the Windows OS software change somehow disconnected the hardware DEVICE from the computer internally. If someone could please tell me how to reconnect that without welding equipment, I can maybe move forward with this sxxtxy problem! Or maybe its just time to divorce Microsoft and get a Mac computer?

    I am having the same issue all of the sudden. HP Spectre X360 Laptop. "No Audio Device is Installed" Shows an red X over the microphone icon in bottom right of screen. I've seen the suggestions on previous posts and those solutions do NOT fix the issue . This is clearly a major issue with windows because I am seeing numerous problems. Yet Microsoft is not providing ANY solutions.

    No sound from my PC. It keeps saying 'no audio device installed'. There was because the sound was OK. So what's gone wrong?

    Unfortunately, Microsoft provided such a short window for going back to Windows 10 from Windows 11 that I, and probably most people, can no longer re-install Windows 10; we're stuck with Windows 11 and no sound. What is Microsoft doing about that?! Do they no longer write corrective software in Redmont? Are they just kicking the can down the road to a future Windows 12 ?

    What's wrong seems to be that you made the mistake of accepting Microsoft's relentless nagging to convert your OS from Windows 10 to Windows 11, which is obviously not designed to work with older hardware with older audio parameters. MS is telling people to go buy a new computer with an upgraded intel chip that Win 11 was written to work with. Aint that nice.
