After clicking Add an Optimal Feature, Add Windows Fax and Scan is not an option.
I have been told that Windows Fax and Scan has been disabled in Windows 11, forcing you to use an online fax service, which I refuse to do for security reasons.

Has anybody been able to configure Windows Fax and Scan, so that they can send faxes free using Microsoft 365 Word?

12 months later. I upgraeded from in 10 to Win 11. no problems at all with the program functioning. I dont know how but I have scan/fax. I use the scanner regularly - no problems. Very handy. Don.
