Has anybody been able to configure Windows Fax and Scan, so that they can send faxes free using Microsoft 365 Word?

    Unfortunately, I was not able to ever get it to work. I even booted up my old Windows 10 laptop and tried Fax and Scan but the software seems to demand a modem and landline.

    I managed to get the Fax program to install but it requires a valid fax account with a fax communication company. Yet another Microsloth free app that does nothing at all at a user level.

    Print your documents to a pdf file and email them....but watch out of you are using Outlook New or Outlook (new) or whatever they call it today....apart from the **** ads in the Inbox headers...that web wrapper around the old Mail product simply SUCKS!

    I followed instructions for adding Microsoft fax and that went successfully. But when I go to fax a document, Fax does not appear in available printers. How do i get it to appear so i can choose it?
