Has anybody been able to configure Windows Fax and Scan, so that they can send faxes free using Microsoft 365 Word?

I followed the instructions above, but after I clicked install arrives a message telling it's not possible to install. What must I do to complete the installation? Thanks
12 months later. I upgraeded from in 10 to Win 11. no problems at all with the program functioning. I dont know how but I have scan/fax. I use the scanner regularly - no problems. Very handy. Don.

After clicking Add an Optimal Feature, Add Windows Fax and Scan is not an option.
I have been told that Windows Fax and Scan has been disabled in Windows 11, forcing you to use an online fax service, which I refuse to do for security reasons.

i d not think so, but i need fax account to participate on plympiad
does windows fax and scan require attaching phone line to the computer, or does it send fax over the internet?
and if the latter, how does recipient get it if recipient does not or cannot use internet?
