My husband was having this very issue. After reading through all the comments, I did the following and it seems to have worked.
- Open Device Manager
- Under "Sound Video and Game Controllers", look for driver listed as WF-1000XM4
- Double click to open the driver properties
- Click on the Driver tab
- Click the "Disable Device" button
- Click OK
- The system will prompt you to restart. Go ahead and restart, and the problem should be solved.
I was going to disable all the drivers mentioned in this thread one by one, but I hit gold on the first one.
Windows 11, on a Dell. Hopefully this helps.
