    Hey all,

I took a slightly different approach to fixing the issue.

I still have the latest Intel Smart Sound Technology for Bluetooth Audio driver but instead rolled back the Intel Wireless Bluetooth driver. This fixes the Bluetooth microphone issue and also means you can keep and use the latest audio codec updates.

I would post a screenshot but they all fail no matter how small. However, here are the driver dates and versions I am using with Windows 11 23H2 (22631.3593)

    Intel Wireless Bluetooth,

    Date: 15/12/2022

    Version: 22.200.0.2

Intel Smart Sound Technology for Bluetooth Audio

    Date: 25/08/2023

    Version: 10.29.0.9677

For instructions on how to roll back a driver: https://lifewire.com/how-to-roll-back-a-driver-in-windows-2619217

    Many thanks,

I have tried disabling the drivers, however except for disabling every audio device it has not made any difference to the microphone input issues.

Has anybody had to fix this on an asus with AMD Drivers? Logically I do not have any intel high def or digital audio drivers to disable.

I have disabled all AMD, Nvidia, Realtek, and Headset drivers and also updated to new ones or rolled back if possible but could not find the right one or right combination so far.

    Any Idea would be apprechiated.

I have been suffering from this issue for a while, forgetting that I replaced my XPS 15's Killer Wireless card with Intel's. Once I figured this out, I discovered that my driver was extremely out of date, (2018 version), so I went to Intel's driver webpage and downloaded the latest driver, and it worked. The issue has been resolved completely for me.

Rollback of this driver from 10.29.0.9947 to 10.29.0.7767 fixed the issue for me.
