I had this issue also. It was working fine and then one day the microphone was not detected (even though the headphones were). I removed the device and also uninstalled the Intel BT driver as show above and then added the device back. It is working again.
Bluetooth microphone is not working on Windows 11.
Hi,
I have a soundcore q35 bluetooth headset. The headphones are working fine with bluetooth but the headset microphone is not connecting. I have tried multiple troublsehooters, driver updates and windows restarts. I have reset the device as well.
Please could you help me resolve this issue.
Thanks,

2024-06-26T11:19:51+00:00 In my case it was a similar issue. The solution was enabling "Bluetooth Audio Gateway Service" .
do check from windows key search + services ==> check "Bluetooth Audio Gateway Service". it should be running.

2024-06-15T15:28:46+00:00 Touch wood.. but for me on my Dell XPS 9520 laptop this appears to have fixed the issue.. I rolled back the Intel Smart Sound technology for Bluetooth Audio driver to the one dated 15/12/2022 (V 22.200.0.2) and this appears to have fixed the microphone issues.. At least I have not had the issue now for over a week.. I used the "Roll Back Driver" button below
If it breaks again I'll be checking this driver to see if it has been upgraded..
Thanks for the help @GAA_CEW.
