Bluetooth microphone is not working on Windows 11.

As I said, I just decided to experiment, so some of my actions could have no logic at all ))

I took the version from this place on my wife's laptop where I didn't face with mic issues.

And googled it. In the search results my attention was attracted by the link that led to the intel audio driver and my thoughts were like

"ou, what if I try to install this on my laptop?"

I admit that it was quite a foolish decision ))

The only use of it was just that it completely removed all Realtec drivers. After that, I tested my headset and discovered that the mic started to work fine.

I kept my experiments and reached a result that satisfied me. All my laptop audio devices are working properly now including the BT headset mic.

I guess after the next Windows Update the issue could return but will see.

The screenshot shows my current values and the driver date looks a bit out of term)))

These Intel drivers appear to be for intel NUC PCs so this is likely why the installation failed unless of course you have a NUC in which case I would not know why the install failed.

It is not clear from your notes if the driver sin question were intel drivers or realtek drivers.. your original driver version (10.02.22621.608) doesn't seem to match the intel driver pack versions you reference later in your notes.. so not really sure what your final drivers versions are here.. Maybe you could clarify for the members.

This is a very difficult issue to troubleshoot but I am confident this is a driver/OS compatibility issue.. trying to find the culprit though will be like trying to find a needle in a haystack.. perhaps if Intel/Microsoft or Realtek could provide the location of the originally released drivers for windows 11 this would help.

please let the members know if your system is not stable with no BT mic issues.

Please continue to monitor as I went through the same Intel driver update process.. it worked at first for about 3-4 hrs and then the mic just stopped for no apparent reason..

I am still of the opinion that this is a driver issue just trying to nail down which drivers and what versions is incredibly time consuming and difficult.. U suspect a combination or Realtek/Intel..

Anybody have the original Windows 11 drivers that Realtek and Intel first distributed for windows 11? perhaps try to install those versions and see if that works.

Ok guys, I have just fixed it.

I decided to check my headset on my wife's laptop. She didn't use it for a long time so I started to experiment. I connected my headset to it and all worked fine.

I watched the driver version, of course, it was quite old - 10.0.22621.608. I decided to try to roll back somehow my drivers to this.

I googled the version and it brought me to the https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/download/19725/realtek-high-definition-audio-driver-for-windows-10-64-bit-and-windows-11-for-intel-nuc-11-performance-kits-mini-pcs-nuc11pa.html

I just downloaded the Audio-Win10_Win11-6.0.9360.1_SST-6367.zip driver and launched the installation.

First, it uninstalled my current drivers and rebooted. Before it proceeded to the installation I checked my headset and the mic worked! I continued the installation, but it finished with some error popup I don't remember the message.

In Device Manager I found that Intel High Definition Audio device is not recognized and I decided to update it with the help of Windows Update tool.

After that, unfortunately, my mic didn't work again.

I ran Audio-Win10_Win11-6.0.9360.1_SST-6367.zip driver installation again, but instead of searching for the driver for Intel High Definition Audio via Windows Update, I searched it by device code (for me it - "intelaudio func_01&ven_10ec&dev_0294") and it brought me to the https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/download/19243/realtek-high-definition-audio-driver-for-nuc7cjy-nuc7pjy.html page where I downloaded Audio-Win10-Win11-6.0.9492.1.zip driver.

After it was installed, all my audio devices worked as they should.

So, try to do something like this, maybe it will help you.

BTW, After my wife's laptop was updated my headset continued to work fine on it. And I tried to connect another BT headset to my laptop, it also worked fine while my headset failed.

I tested it without upgrading but the windows re-install was performed with the latest updates from microsoft so it may had already the conflictive update.

I have Windows 11, i will try to run some Ubuntu/Debina live and test the behaviour to isolate it. Maybe, as you are saying, is something related exclusively to an OS patch.
