Hi,

I have a soundcore q35 bluetooth headset. The headphones are working fine with bluetooth but the headset microphone is not connecting. I have tried multiple troublsehooters, driver updates and windows restarts. I have reset the device as well.

Please could you help me resolve this issue.

Thanks,

You have to make sure that Bluetooth services are working in services.msc.

    You will have 3 services.

    Bluetooth audio gateway service

    Bluetooth support service

    Bluetooth user support service_18772c

Restart them if they are stopped and set them to automatic. They should be running.

Once running, connect your Bluetooth headphone. It will show up as both mic and audio now. This fixed the issue for me.

    Hey all,

I took a slightly different approach to fixing the issue.

I still have the latest Intel Smart Sound Technology for Bluetooth Audio driver but instead rolled back the Intel Wireless Bluetooth driver. This fixes the Bluetooth microphone issue and also means you can keep and use the latest audio codec updates.

I would post a screenshot but they all fail no matter how small. However, here are the driver dates and versions I am using with Windows 11 23H2 (22631.3593)

    Intel Wireless Bluetooth,

    Date: 15/12/2022

    Version: 22.200.0.2

Intel Smart Sound Technology for Bluetooth Audio

    Date: 25/08/2023

    Version: 10.29.0.9677

    Many thanks,

Can you please let me know asap if re-installing OS solves our issue? the technician is about to come in a few days and do the same thing he did before! (Replacing motherboard with bluetooth driver in it) that solves nothing, but now they are saying after the replacement they will re-install a new OS this time, im not quite sure if the previous replacement did a reinstall of OS. thats my sentiment as well, Dell XPS is not a cheap laptop. i bought an expensive laptop to avoid these scenarios, but look where it has taken me. Advance thanks for sharing the result of your fix!
