I am unable to change the name of my bluetooth ear buds. I have tried the control panel/hardware and devices/ properties but there is no "bluetooth" tab or option to rename. I am using Win 11 Home Version 10.0.22621 Build 22621. Please help.

If you don't see change setting, when you open device manager on the top row click on "Action", from there click on "Devices and Printers" . When you open devices and printers. You will see your device!

Right Click on it and then click Properties.

Then Click on "Bluetooth" in the top row. You will be able to change your device name there.

After that, Remove the device and pair it again!

    HOPE IT HELPS!!!

This absolutely worked for me as I was having all the same symptoms as above. Couldn't get the PowerShell responses to give me the full BT InstanceID so don't mess with any of that, just do this.
