Camera Missing In Device Manager

My Camera is not showing in Device Manager.

Before I did a scan for any changes I noticed the name in which I named my computer during one of the requests when setting up the Windows 11 installation was not there however after the scan the name was there and when I opened it there was the option to add drivers. My question is should I proceed with adding the drivers?

I just purchased a new computer and went through the motions of installing Windows and I have the same going on in this computer. It's like a spreading cancer however when I check the properties of what folders I do have scattered around the first part of the path after the user is One Drive. Has One Drive taken over my computers?

    I have the same issue and did all of those steps, restart, app, reset, bios, went to Dell for driver updates on and on. The camera option is just nonexistent in device manager. This makes no sense. I went to Youtube did the Image device trick all of it and no camera. Why would there be so many people with this common software issue and why would it just disappear. There's got to be a solution to get my webcam to be detected and working again.

    I recommend doing an "in-place upgrade". This will download Windows 11 installer files and use those to update and repair your system.

    You can follow the video guide in the below link to know how to get it done:

    1. Please visit this link: https://www.microsoft.com/en-au/software-downlo...
    2. There you will see an option "Download tool now"
    3. A media creation tool with the latest version will be downloaded.
    4. Open it in the file location and run it as administrator.
    5. Accept the terms and licenses.
    6. Select the "Upgrade this PC"
    7. And then the downloading will start.
    8. Press "Install" once done.

    The system will restart several times and the updates will happen.

    It appears these Windows programs are not set up properly as when I click apps as to your instructions that is where things end as beginning with Apps and features and as to the remainder of your instructions.

    I would think that these Windows installations are not performed by an overseas third party who are not / or properly trained to perform the task.
