Not only is it unreliable in receiving any messages, it's hyper-unreliable in staying connected. I will sit there, and watch it 'reconnect loop' for minutes on end.. Bluetooth connectivity isn't this unreliable so it has to be a Microsoft issue, or an API issue between them and the ios SDK for this app.. either way, the fact that it exists within the Windows 11 ecosystem and isn't remotely functional is heartbreaking. You know good and well majority of their employees use iPhone due to it's simplistic nature.. no reason to release it and it be less than half baked. Bummer.
Tried uninstalling the Windows Link.. and going straight bluetooth.. also tried w/ Windows Link.
Of course, did 'forget device' on both... repaired the app on windows, reset the app on windows.. did a reboot on each device..
Checked for windows updates *there are none currently* ...
Tried setting the phones notifications to 'Always'.. but that was already a setting I had so, I just reset that..
Tried leaving the phone 'unlocked' to see if it made a difference..
Did all of this a 2nd time, did it all a 3rd time..
Then, tried messages from 3 different phones, 1 being android, 1 being another users iphone, and 1 being a Twilio api Text-to-Voice platform.. none showed up.
*sigh*.. pos app .. My $0.02.
