I agree this is far too time-consuming and complicated. Microsoft must fix the problem caused by the latest Windows Audio Service update. PLEASE FIX THIS ISSUE people are losing time and money.

It says no audio device is installed when I plug in my c920 logitech camera. This just happened recently. They used to work well together before.

2023-10-18T14:10:01+00:00 I went through Microsoft customer service. They helped me uninstall the latest Windows update and do a clean reboot. Everything is up and running perfectly again. The issue is a glitch in the last Windows 11 update that was installed on my machine October 12 2023

This update was installed overnight (I forgot to turn off auto update) so now my camera isn't working again. It is definitely an issue with this update. If I remove the update and go back to the way things were, the camera works perfectly. Argg...
