It says no audio device is installed when I plug in my c920 logitech camera. This just happened recently. They used to work well together before.

    Thanks for your reply.

Unfortunately those methods don't work. But I'm sure that the problem is with the Windows Audio service. Whenever I start the service, it stops immediately. But when I unplug my camera it starts again. Could you please tell me how to fix this?

Hello, My name is Erfan. I will help you with this.

I understand how frustrating it is. Please try the below steps.

Unplug the webcam and plug in another USB port.

    Reinstall driver

    1. Press the Windows key + X and select Device Manager.
    2. Expand the Camera and Audio section.
    3. Right-click on your webcam and audio driver and select Uninstall device.
    4. Restart your computer and Windows will automatically reinstall the driver.
    5. If that does not help, download latest driver from the Logitech website.

    Restart Audio Services

    1. Press Win + R to launch the Run command box. Type services.msc and hit the Enter key.
    2. Scroll down and find Windows Audio and Windows Audio Endpoint Builder services in the Services panel.
    3. If they are not running, right-click on the service and select the start option from the context menu.
    4. Repeat the above step for all services containing the word " Audio" in them. Exit the services panel.

Check for Windows updates. Settings(Win+I) > Windows update > Check for Windows update.

After installing the pending updates and restarting the computer, return to the exact Windows Update screen, click Advanced Options > Optional Updates, apply the optional updates, and restart the PC.

Let me know if that did not help. Thank you.
