How to remove Windows 11 Password Login, I want to make it so that no password is needed.

I am trying to setup my new HP LAPTOP and it asked to create Windows 11 - Hello PIN, I didn't want to have the pin but there was no option to skip it.

Then after the setup the Laptop started up and I went to SETTINGS> ACCOUNTS> SIGN-IN OPTIONS> WINDOWS HELLO PIN> REMOVE

Unchecked the Use Windows Hello for login option.

Restarted the laptop.

It now asks for the password I have for my Microsoft account.

I want to make it so that I don't need to enter any password or Windows hello pin to access the laptop.

Can someone help me out please?

Hi Rahul,

I'm Amr, an independent advisor.

Try these methods to remove Windows 11 password Login

  1. Disable password login on Windows
  1. In the search box next to the Start icon type netplwiz and click the top result to open the Control Panel applet.
  2. Under the “Users for this computer” section, select the account to remove its password.
  3. Clear the “User must enter a user name and password to use this computer” option.

Note If the option is missing, follow these steps

Open Settings > Accounts > Sign-in options and turn off the “For improved security, only allow Windows Hellow sign-in for Microsoft accounts on this device” option and reopen the netplwiz applet.

  1. Click the Apply button.
  2. Confirm the Microsoft account credentials to log in automatically.
  3. Click the OK button.
  4. Click the OK button again.
  1. Remove the password for the Microsoft account
  1. Open Settings then click on Accounts.
  2. Click the Your info tab.
  3. Under the Account settings section, click the “Sign in with a local account instead” option.
  4. Click the Next button.
  5. Confirm your current password.
  6. Click the Next button.
  7. Create a username for the account.
  8. Use blank for the “Password” and “Reenter password” options to remove the password entirely.
  9. Click the Next button.
  10. Click the “Sign out and finish” button.

After you complete the steps, the laptop will no longer connect with a Microsoft account and will log you in automatically every time you start the system.

I hope this is helpful. If you require any additional assistance, don't hesitate to respond to this.

Best Regard

Amr

There is no START along the bottom in win 11

There is no search box along the bottom in win 11

There is no "users for this computer" under "CONTROL PANEL" only "USER ACCOUNTS"

Selecting that shows.... Michael Barber's account...

Selecting my account does not have "User must enter a user name and password to use this computer" option....

Are there 2 win 11s.... ??? How could something this basic be so complicated???

And why does MicroSoft think that they have to protect MY computer???

    HELP.........

    thanks Mike

AND THEN WHEN I TRY TO SUBMIT.... THE CANCEL AND SUBMIT BUTTONS ARE GRAYED OUT.................................... YOU HAVE TO KIDDING ME!!!!!

This does not work in February 2024. There are none of the options that OP listed on my version of Windows 11. I believe that Windows 11 no longer allows a user to turn off the password. This is easily the worst OS ever to include Vista and NT.

None of these procedures work.... And before you ask.... yes I followed them... But in so many places in these procedures the "check this box" "select this option" simply doesn't exist. It's like they have a completely different OS.

And this is not new... I've been using a pc for over20 years and it has always been this way.

MicroSoft simply does not understand the needs and requirements of the average computer user and the only reason Win OS exists is because there is only 1 real alternative....
