Virtual Network Adapter

My Windows 11 laptop will no longer connect to Wi-Fi. It says "You're connected using a virtual network adapter that we can't test." I have restarted my laptop and rebooted the modem, neither worked. Any help on what to do next?

    I was having the exact problem and this worked perfect. My husband and I tried for hours yesterday and this worked in less than 5 minutes. I did not have to reset to factory settings. Thanks so much!

    I solved it:

    Go to Device Manager, find the defective network driver.

    Write down its name, then uninstall it.

    Download the driver on another computer from Intel's website, and copy the file to a USB device.

    Now plug the USB device to the defective computer, click that file - and install it.

    Ta-da!

    I did this and it does not say that any of the adapters are not working properly, all of them say that that are working properly

    Hi there,

    I have followed your instructions but all my network adapters seem to be working properly and so I don’t know what to do now? What network adapters should be showing under the drop down?
