My windows 11 will not let me download a printer driver. And does not have a choose where to get app in advanced settings

I just purchased a new printer. I keep trying to download driver but windows will not let me open.

I youtubed several videos on how to fix or allow the driver to be downloaded but my computer does not even have the option available! so I do not know what to do.

    Please do the following:

    1. Open the Settings app (Windows key + I) and select "System > About";
    2. Under "Windows specifications", in "Edition", what is the edition (Windows Home, Pro / in S mode)?

    If you prefer, send a screenshot. Use the shortcut "Windows + Shift + S" to use the screenshot tool.

    Be sure to censor your email address if it appears. The Microsoft Community is public.

    Hi.

    I'm not Diana, but I'm having a similar problem. Trying to install software for a new printer. A pop-up window appears, telling me to go to the windows app store.

    I have Windows 11 Home in S Mode.

    The printer is a Brother inkjet MFC-J model.

    According to their website, it is compatible with Windows 11, but does not specify S mode.
