My windows 11 will not let me download a printer driver. And does not have a choose where to get app in advanced settings

I just purchased a new printer. I keep trying to download driver but windows will not let me open.

I youtubed several videos on how to fix or allow the driver to be downloaded but my computer does not even have the option available! so I do not know what to do.

    Hi David Im having the same issue trying to load my printer to windows 11 S mode. Is there a reason it is running in S mode? My old laptop ran the printer, and it shows when I follow instructions to pull it up but Windows 11 S will not allow me to load it? Help

    I FIGURED IT OUT - WITHOUT EXITING OUT OF S MODE:

    I could not connect my Canon Pixma printer to my Windows laptop, as I kept getting the "drivers unavailable" message. Downloaded drivers from Canon, but Windows would not let me run them in S mode. The internet was no help. Canon support also could not advise. After MUCH frustration and trying every angle possible, I finally got something to work. For Windows 11:

    1. Connect your printer to your home wifi network. Make sure you get the notification from your printer that it has connected successfully.
    2. Find your printer's IP address - it will look something like "123.456.7.8". I can't tell you how to find this info, as every brand/model is different, but Google should help.
    3. Open printers & scanners in your settings.
    4. Select "Add Device"
    5. Let it search for a few seconds, then when your printer doesn't pop up, click "Add a new device manually"
    6. On the next page, select "Add printer using IP address or hostname"
    7. Click the dropdown menu labeled "device type", select "autodetect"
    8. Input your IP address in the boxes for both "IP address" and "Portname" - so your IP address will be in both boxes. *MAKE SURE the box is checked for "Query the printer and automatically select the driver to use".
    9. Click next. In a few seconds it should be connected. Print a test page to be sure.

    I actually screamed and jumped up and down in celebration when I heard the rollers pulling down that paper to test print. Hallelujah! If this doesn't work for you, unfortunately I have no other advice. What a weird setup this is. S Mode sucks. Please let me know if this helps any of you. Good luck!

    Hi Diana

    I have a problem with an application that i'm using at work and my problem is that i can't print any receite using that app on a Windows 11 pro.

    And my guess was that this app From Ericom Software Ltd is not compatible with Windows 11 prom.

    So i wenty on the app files and i asked my self if i should change or upgrade the PrintDLL32 file.

    If so who can help me get it ?

    I had an issue with Richo not providing an ARM/64 bit driver, so it would not work. So I suggest verifying that Brother provides an ARM universal print driver. I believe the Canon Pixma TS3660 did have an ARM/64 bit driver
