- folders on your desktop
- folders inside Downloads, Documents, Music and Videos

In the "File Explorer", "Expand to Open Folder" option is not working. This happend after updating "2023-09 Cumulative Update Preview for Windows 11 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5030310)". How to re-enable the "Expand to Open Folder" option?

Incredible !!!!!!!
A working function in Windows destroyed by a new version. Reported Q3/2023 and no fix until Q3/2024.
This is used by a lot of users around the world and nothing happens. The world is shaking head about what is ongoing in Microsoft.
Thanks :)
Thank you!!! I was getting so frustrated trying to figure this out, and you saved the day!
Everyone, I'm finding that the pinned, special 'My Moved Files' folders, Docs, Pics, Music, Videos, that I moved from my C: drive to a separate E: drive using 'Properties, Location' tab, are the ones affected. Other folders that I created on that drive are not affected. Perhaps that says something about the issue.
ps thanks for the Cntrl Shift E tip. At least that does work for a temporary work around...
