How to re-enable the "Expand to Open Folder" option?

I have same problem. I do have that option checked, but it is just not working anymore.

Wanted to emphasize this right here "C:\users<username>". This is the same for me any folders under C:\users<username> will not auto expand anymore.

The only work around I have found is to enable "show all folders" and the the auto expand works fine but the left pane is so cluttered at that point that I'd rather not have the functionality at all.

I have the same problem after the latest update. 'Expand to open folder' is checked, it's just not working.

I have pinned folders on my task bar and if I click on one of them, it opens Explorer and shows the files in that folder, but the Navigation Pane just shows my root drives and does not expand to the chosen folder.

Do you have any other ideas?

That's what I have selected, still doesn't work. As I said, this used to work before last week's update. I'm starting to think this is a bug.

Pending for the fix, for what it's worth, it is possible to expand manually pressing Ctrl-Shift-E keys...
