When connecting to my Bluetooth speakers, it says: "We didn't get any response from the device, try connecting again.

When trying to troubleshoot this issue an error pops up stating: "ms-contact-support://settomgs/settingspagetroubleshootbluetooth. this file does not have an app associated with it for performing this action. Please install an app or, if one is already installed, create an association in the default app settings page."

this all happened after I upgraded from Windows 10 to Windows 11. Please help

Hi John -I recently upgraded from Windows 10 to Windows 11 & initially, I had no Bluetooth issues. However, a a few days ago, Bluetooth functionality ceased. In your directions above, when I tried to 'restart' "Bluetooth Support Service', I was got this error message & was unable to continue with your posted steps:

"Windows couldn't stop Bluetooth Support Service, service on local computer. Error: 1053 - The service didn't respond to the start or control restart in a timely fashion." Now the Status says 'Stopping'

In Bluetooth Settings, my devise is there & when I press Connect, it says: "That didn't work. Make sure your Bluetooth devise is discoverable, then try again."

I have, it's still not connecting.

Also, when I try to "Remove the devise" (to re-install it), it stays installed - I'm unable to uninstall it. I'm not sure if this impacts the problem.

    Help!

I am experiencing the same issue with Bluetooth described above after recent updates (March 2024), the Bluetooth icon disappeared from the bottom tray, Airplane mode is grayed out, my network adapter is showing up under 'other devices' in Device Manager and won't recognize any drivers that I've tried to install. I've already tried all troubleshooting steps suggested in this thread and installed a 'clean' version of Windows 11. Currently, the only way to connect to the network is via an ethernet connection, I have no WIFI or BLUETOOTH connectivity. Please help!
