2023-09 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5030219) Is Now Available

It keeps failing on my system. Does anyone know if there is a solution for this update?

Update keeps failing during restart, and when my computer restarts, it has a critical error where my start menu isn't working that can't seem to be fixed.

Same issue: install works, then during reboot if fails at 96% of the upgrade process. After automated rollback start menu and search are not working anymore with a crtitical error message.

I tried several solutions, none of them worked:

1. restart in safe mode => does not fix anything
2. rollback to previous snapshot and install KB from MS catalog manually => same issue at 96%
3. ran update troubleshooter, restart and re-install => same issue at 96%

I see quite a lot of people having the same issue with no solution.

I'm now stuck, unable to install the cumulative fix.

Any solution or fix will be highly appreciated, is MS working on this?

Installed updates today. I now do not get to use EDGE. It says that Sophos was not correctly installed. It says to turn Sophos off, uninstall Sophos, or use a different network. Sophos is not installed on the computers, so I can't turn it off or uninstall it. Don't have another network to use. What do I do now?

I had the same error 80070002 and could not fix it.

I tried the in place upgrade for Windows 11, but couldn't get it to get past "Getting Updates", it would hang at 46% when checking for them.

I eventually fixed it by exiting the installer, restarting it, and before starting the installation you'll see the below screen

Click the blue writing that says "Change how Setup downloads updates"

Make sure the "Not right now" radio button is checked. It will install the base version of your Windows edition, then you can install all the updates when you're back in (and that worked for me)
