You can install Win11, only have to do alittle workaround. dont worry, microsoft itself has also made a tutorial for installing win11 on unsupported hardware but their version sucks.

Hi, I am unable to install latest Windows 10 22H2 Cumulative Update, with the error 0x8007000D. I have tried downloading the KB from Microsoft Update Catalog and run manually but I am getting this error as well. Has anyone else faced this issue and does anyone have a solution for this?

2023-10-20T19:06:49+00:00 This is still happening for me. Has anyone had it successfully install yet? I've tried dism scanhealth, restorehealth, sfc scannow, cleared the windows distribution download folder, rebooted 873 times and it's still failing 😩. It keeps trying to install so I had to pause automatic updates and I'm doing restorehealth, yet again. I work from home and this is super disruptive because it makes my computer pretty much unusable after it fails.

2023-10-19T10:50:14+00:00 Am having the same problem with kb5031356, yet, the other kb5031224 downloaded and installed just fine and yesterday another update installed. windows update has tried to installed the update in question several times and failed. I downloaded the update from the microsoft catalog and tried to install it but it failed too. I tried all of the suggestions but found no problems. did not try to reinstall win10 because the other updates are working just fine and I got no errors with win update troubleshooter and sfc and dism. There is something about this update that is not compatible with my desktop win 10 computer yet it downloaded and installed successfully on my laptop computer. And my computer has plenty of space and memory.
This is an absolute disaster, the same problem as all of you and I almost lost the system. I am fed up, I am quite old, Engineer, and I have suffering from this since Windows 3.1. Last PC in my life. I will buy a Mac as my sons did. This is an almost 3000€ professional laptop, and this morning, it restarted at night, it was so a huge disaster the fans stopped and I found a nearly burning PC.

2023-10-14T17:46:52+00:00 On my HP Spectre, Windows 10 v 22H2 (upgrade 11/22) (KB5031356) upgraded successfully without admin/user interaction needed on 10/11/2023.
On my Lenova Yoga 7 also running Windows 10 v 22H2, had the above mentioned issue with "restart pending". After multiple failed restart/reboot attempts and the upgrade not happening, "Restart Required" status remaining, I ran David's steps, Troubleshooter first per suggestion, and continued to steps 1 through 3 in the first section verbatim. I then re ran the upgrade check, (KB5031356) showed up and started to download/install). Checked history after install/restart. Problem cleared and upgrade was successful.
