I did it. At the same time, I also have AURA controllers disabled and Windows Update paused.
I don't have the USB AURA LED CONTROLLER on my system but still have the same issue as everyone else so I think that rules that out of the equation.

All of my USB devices randomly disconnect and will sometimes reconnect on their own in 10-20 seconds. Other times when they do not reconnect I have to completely restart the PC to get devices back working. I have tried uninstalling drivers for the USB roothubs and devices with no luck of a fix. I have not seen this issue addressed elsewhere or corrected. Other instances have not been similar to mine and this issue was non existent before upgrading to Win11. I even did a repair install of Win11 with no luck either. Any help or fixes would be greatly appreciated.

same issue again!!! :(
Windows Update disabled dosn't work!
AURA CONTROLLER disabled doesn't work!
My mouse and keyboard had frozen, so I pressed the power button on the case once to turn off the PC, and the USB ports reactivated. I canceled the automatic shutdown screen of the applications and continued using the PC; this happened twice in a row. Then I closed Houdini (the software I use for CGI) and since then it hasn't happened again.
In my opinion, there are many different causes, not just one. Understanding what they are and how many seems impossible. There are too many variables at play.
So I disabled updates, it worked fine for 2 days, then I get an amazing disconnect-reconnect but even the game freezes after disconnect. So, uhm. I'm really thinking of trying a Ubuntu LiveCD for a while, to see if it's even a O.S./driver/program issue. IF it's not, ladies and gents, we're a huge group of lucky people that got a stupid hardware defect that developed in an unknown way.
Today I had the problem again.
For now, I have a USB mouse and keyboard connected, and also a Bluetooth mouse that I keep turned off but with the receiver connected to a USB 3.0 HUB. So:
USB Mouse: ROCCAT KONE AIMO (RGB)
USB Keyboard: Trust GTX (RGB)
Bluetooth Mouse (on HUB-USB): Logitech MX MASTER
When the mouse and keyboard stopped working (even though they remained powered and lit), I tried turning on the Bluetooth mouse. The USB mouse came back online, and I turned off the Bluetooth one. However, the keyboard still didn't work, so I unplugged the USB cable and plugged it back in.
I think my problem is due to a Windows bug that switches between the various HID devices (4 for the keyboard and 3 for the mouse) automatically (for some reason).
So now I want to try uninstalling the other HIDs, hoping that they won't get reinstalled every time.
I trying this procedure:

****!!! IS IMPOSSIBLE TO WORK WITH THIS **** ISSUE!!!!
