All USB devices Disconnect randomly on Windows 11.

All of my USB devices randomly disconnect and will sometimes reconnect on their own in 10-20 seconds. Other times when they do not reconnect I have to completely restart the PC to get devices back working. I have tried uninstalling drivers for the USB roothubs and devices with no luck of a fix. I have not seen this issue addressed elsewhere or corrected. Other instances have not been similar to mine and this issue was non existent before upgrading to Win11. I even did a repair install of Win11 with no luck either. Any help or fixes would be greatly appreciated.

I tried to search for core isolation and found this:

    Image

On clicking it, this is what I got

    Image

    My specs:

    Processor AMD Ryzen 9 5900X 12-Core Processor 3.70 GHz

    Installed RAM 32.0 GB

System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor

Pen and touch No pen or touch input is available for this display

    Edition Windows 11 Pro N

    Version 23H2

    OS build 22631.4037

Experience Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.22700.1027.0

If my computer isn't compatible with that spec, I wonder what is. I have tried to enable core isolation but with no luck. The USB failing is driving me nuts because my backups aren't running. This is RIDICULOUS and MS should be ashamed for keeping the tradition alive of having every alternative version a failure.

    Any thoughts on this?

OK, it seems like I was a little premature with my last comment! It now seems that when connecting a USB thumb drive to the front USB 3.0 ports on my desktop PC I can manage data transfers in either direction without any issues. HOWEVER..., the same cannot be said if I plug-in my mobile phone into these same ports, doing so sees a reoccurrence of the annoying connect and disconnect problem every second or two.

To confuse this issue further, I've noticed that connecting my mobile phone to the USB ports on my Dell monitor does not cause any of these issues. My monitor is connected to the rear facing USB ports on the back of my PC.

Maybe is a Intel CPU + ASUS Motherboard problem.
13th and 14th Intel cpu generation.

    I have i9 13900kf and Motherboard ASUS z790p

I haven't usb problem from 3 weeks, but I have an random applications crash and "STATUS ACCESS VIOLATION" random internet problem. (random appears on all browser expecially when I'm browsing on Linkedin, Facebook, Upwork, Youtube and other social or website with services that require a constant input and output data traffic (as if suddendly the power to the network card stopped, like what happends with USB port)

I found a Reddit post when other people have same problem and same cpu intel + asus mb.

https://www.reddit.com/r/chrome/comments/1cy9twz/constant_crashes_on_chrome_status_access/On this post i found a interested link:

    https://community.intel.com/t5/Processors/June-2024-Guidance-regarding-Intel-Core-13th-and-14th-Gen-K-KF/m-p/1607807
    I
don't know when I can change the voltage setting and I'm afraid of making mistrake and messing things up.

MAYBE the usb issue and this issues are connected...

When ASUS MB website will be online, I'll found a new BIOS update

Strangely this seems to have been fixed for now! I used my computer for a number of hours yesterday and this afternoon whilst having my USB thumb drive attached and I was able to copy and move files across without issue. No random disconnects at all.

If it's fixed I'm a happy bunny but it would have been nice if MS had made this fix public so we knew what had been causing it.

Of well, hopefully this will be the end of the matter 🤞

A thing I observed lately was that it usually happens when the pc is idle or I haven't touched the keyboard and mouse for a while. 20mins-ish. Whenever I would move the mouse it would happen. It still happens when using the pc too but not as often.
If anyone else has it happening in the same conditions, it could be a lead to go on, I guess, since there is none at the moment.

L.E.: After posting this, it started doing it quite often. I restarted my pc now. Idk why but today it went bazooka on me. At least 10 times since this morning. Never had more than 2-3 times one day every few days.
