All USB devices Disconnect randomly on Windows 11.

All of my USB devices randomly disconnect and will sometimes reconnect on their own in 10-20 seconds. Other times when they do not reconnect I have to completely restart the PC to get devices back working. I have tried uninstalling drivers for the USB roothubs and devices with no luck of a fix. I have not seen this issue addressed elsewhere or corrected. Other instances have not been similar to mine and this issue was non existent before upgrading to Win11. I even did a repair install of Win11 with no luck either. Any help or fixes would be greatly appreciated.

Such a shame Microsoft don't want to get involved with this conversation, as usual I feel they're waiting for some bright spark to find the solution so they can claim all the glory!

In a Reddit post, I found someone who tried disabling the "allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" option via the command line. He posted an update after 3 months saying that the problem hadn't reoccurred. He therefore thought that Windows 11 had a bug and that the option didn’t work when deselected from "Device Manager."

    The command is:

    powercfg /SETACVALUEINDEX SCHEME_CURRENT 2a737441-1930-4402-8d77-b2bebba308a3 48e6b7a6-50f5-4782-a5d4-53bb8f07e226 0

I did it. At the same time, I also have AURA controllers disabled and Windows Update paused.

After one day the problem returned, but justy for mouse.
    The keyboard works well.

the problem isn't "windows updater" or temperature.

I talked about this issue with my friend. He had Windows 11 and doesn't have issue. BUT he have laptop.

Could this be a possible cause?

    EDIT:
I found a Reddit post discussing this issue. Some people are talking about ASUS motherboards and Armoury Create (the software for managing motherboard RGB). I have an ASUS motherboard, and some time ago, I noticed changes regarding Armoury Create software updates. I had the same impression. So, I tried disabling the USB AURA LED CONTROLLER device... Fingers crossed"

    here the Reddit post: https://www.reddit.com/r/AMDHelp/comments/yxaacw/all_of_my_usb_devices_keep_temporarily/
    EDIT2
     (after 4 hours)
The mouse and keyboard have been working fine so far. As I mentioned above, I DISABLED the USB AURA CONTROLLER. When I tried to UNINSTALL it, initially the mouse froze, then Windows automatically reinstalled the AURA CONTROLLER and the mouse started working again. As soon as the mouse started working again, I DISABLED the AURA CONTROLLER (DID NOT UNINSTALL).

I hope it's resolved. Maybe the Aura Controller drivers in Windows 11 crash with USB... I don’t know. In any case, the RGB in the case still works.

    Fingers crossed as always :)

    EDIT3: 2 days after....
****!!! again!!!.... -_- I hope this long post can be helpful to someone.

Update. I was trying to use my external HDD and it became pointless because the HDD data connection kept disconnecting and reconnecting as described earlier (phone was doing this too earlier). I could see the files, but would randomly disconnect so I couldn't consistently transfer them completely (was backing files onto my HDD). It irritated me enough that I contacted the Microsoft help desk chat. I noticed something during their 'try another port, try another cable, try another computer' troubleshooting requests that my USB mouse and keyboard didn't have connectivity issues, but those were using USB 2.0 and all the ports that were having issues were USB 3.0. The Windows tech updated Windows drivers for USB 3.0. Note, I had already updated both Windows and attempted to update the drivers earlier that day. They didn't do the recommended "search automatically for files" like I did previously, which said I already was using the current version. For each of the USB 3.0 ports in Device Manager, they updated the drivers manually by choosing to "Browse my computer for drivers" and chose a file that was available. That forced an update. The USB 3.0 now work with thumb drives and my phone. Unfortunately the HDD has now fried through the repeated cycling as the directory is now unreadable and won't connect at all on this or other computers (it was connecting earlier and I could see and open files, but having it connected throughout the entire troubleshooting process with Microsoft it changed to completely unreadable). Good news is that everything else now works when it didn't before. I have had my phone and a thumb drive plugged into the same port for over 30 minutes and no disconnections. I hope that this helps.
