New Windows 11 file explorer can't drag and drop in address bar

Hi,

I'm really upset of the new address bar because I can't drag and drop anymore files to parent folder like in old file explorer address bar

Can you fix the problem in a close future update or tell me how to change this back to old version (exist in windows 11 file explorer)

The new address bar is above the tools bar (New - Cut - Copy - etc), the old one is bellow

    Everyone, I have the solution!

    Windhawk, which has been suggested here before has been updated. This is the defintive way to get it back and keep win11 command bar at the same time.

    Bro, marked 5 stars bro. THIS IS SOLUTION. Bro, Can't wait till Google indexes this and Microsoft learns what their program is supposed to look like. Not only does this solve the hanging history dropdown bro, it also fixes drag/drop into the path in the address bar, brooooo! (My colleague didn't even know you could do that) Bro,thank you SO MUCH for posting that solution, bro! Works PERFECT bro.

    I'm sure you didn't read my post where I mentioned I created a new user and the problem persisted. It was unique to my install and I didn't care to spend the time to figure out why so I reinstalled.

    That's unusual. Did you try a Repair Install before going to a clean install?

    Repair install. LOL! My god, dude. What is this, 2002? Windows XP? Get out of here.
