Hello I am trying to open Local Security Policy but keep get this error.

Hello.

I am using windows 11 pro and every time i try and open Local Security Policy I getting an error and I need to access it like now.

The error I keeping getting is this

An attempt was made to reference a token that does not exist.

Please assist me if you.

Great, thanks for the update. The leftover AppLocker configuration file C:\Windows\System32\AppLocker\Script.AppLocker was causing all the trouble.

Download AdvancedRun from Nirsoft.

Launch cmd.exe as TrustedInstaller. This opens a Command Prompt window with highest privileges.

(See also: How to Run Programs as TrustedInstaller)

From that Command Prompt window, run services.msc

See if you can stop or disable the service you want to stop/disable.

    that work but i now have a different problem with my laptop.

    I am on windows 11 insider program and i in the beta program of it everytime i am try to install an update called "Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Insider Preview (10.0.22635.2841) (KB5032286)" when i am doing the final step when the laptop restart to install the update the error i keep getting is something didn't go as planned undoing updates.

    i have do the dsim.exe check and it said there was nothing wrong and the scannow /sfc no problem was found please help me because i need the update i cannot use windows search on my taskbar at and i can not see my notifications.

    Thank you for the information.

    How do I fix if at a later stage I want to disable any service because even the built-in Administrator can not disable the service.

    I am asking for any service I might want t disable in the future.

    That's because the service permissions have been tightened on your system. Since you plan to use AppLocker anyway, you don't need to disable those services.
