High virtual memory usage after reinstall

My system is Ideapad Gaming 3 16IAH7 with 16 GB RAM.

After a clean reinstall, my virtual memory usage has been higher by at least 10-20% despite not only having the same amount of processes but even a little fewer. The reason for my clean reinstall was due to the poor and inconsistent performance, something which seems to be no longer the case. I wish to know if the reason for higher virtual memory usage is the cost of performance being better now.

Okay, if there is anything further I can help you with, please let me know, but I do not see any other method to reduce the virtual memory allocation, or a problem with the current allocation.

I know that and you did mention it before, and again I am not planning on doing so and I did not do so before I did the clean install.
