Same issue here with brand new dell laptop on Windows 11. Have never been able to connect to Windows Update. Ran the troubleshooters and the laptop does not "think" it's connected to the internet. It clearly is. Websites work and ping works. Tried most solutions on here and other places. No luck so far. Very frustrating!
How to fix Windows 11 saying i'm not connected to the internet but apps and browsers connect and work?
Windows 11 update is not working saying "We couldn't connect to the update service. We'll try again later, or you can check now. If it still doesn't work, make sure you're connected to the Internet." (I checked and the windows update service is running), I tried the windows troubleshooter for network and internet and it says "Looks like you aren't connected to the internet." but all apps and browsers connect to internet fine. Today I tried a repair install of the new 23H2 update from the ISO and no luck with that, the troubleshooter and windows update still say no connection to internet. What now?

2024-12-20T08:41:11+00:00 Welcome to the club !!!!
Windows 10 or 11, the same trouble. Microsoft is enable to resolve it. Why not just allow a parameter "forcing" "connectivity ok" ?
Now, with Windows 11, you got "Windows is shutting down" without giving any reason nor alert you before shutting down !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! -

2024-07-21T19:56:07+00:00 I have been facing the same issues for about five months now. Guidance on the internet helps temporarily but, it keeps going back to the same issue. This all started after I completed the windows 11 update.
Microsoft, have you found a solution as yet? This is very frustrating!
