Recovery of unsaved video of sniping tool ?

I recorded the video using Windows 11 snipping tool and preview the video but after i closed it .
so where is my video saved cant able to find it?

i didnt particularly saved it because windows 11 automatic store the snips so its same for the video too right .
but even after searching the whole system several time I can't able to find the file.

Hello! I'm Jen, and I'd be happy to help you out with this issue.

Please follow these steps to recover the unsaved recording from snipping tool. Press Windows + R to open the Run command window. Copy-paste this path: %LOCALAPPDATA%\Packages\Microsoft.ScreenSketch_8wekyb3d8bbwe\TempState and press enter. It should open the Recordings folder from the snipping tool.

    Hi Jen, I have tried this one but unfortunately it only recovers record of the same day. Is there a way that I can see all the unsaved records from the past days? Thanks!

    Hi, It didn't work for me. There was one saved file but it says the format is not supported. Is there any other way?

    I was screen recording using snipping tool then all of a sudden it stopped and close the app on its own.

    I tried using the aforementioned recovery step, saw the video but it is says that ‘maybe the file type is unsupported, the file extension is incorrect or the file is corrupt’

    Kindly help me as this is an important video.

    thank you for the path i found the file but i can't open it i receive a message it might me corrupts and the file volume is 942 mb

    how to read the file ??
