Recovery of unsaved video of sniping tool ?

I recorded the video using Windows 11 snipping tool and preview the video but after i closed it .
so where is my video saved cant able to find it?

i didnt particularly saved it because windows 11 automatic store the snips so its same for the video too right .
but even after searching the whole system several time I can't able to find the file.

Hello! I'm Jen, and I'd be happy to help you out with this issue.

Please follow these steps to recover the unsaved recording from snipping tool. Press Windows + R to open the Run command window. Copy-paste this path: %LOCALAPPDATA%\Packages\Microsoft.ScreenSketch_8wekyb3d8bbwe\TempState and press enter. It should open the Recordings folder from the snipping tool.

    Hi Jen,

    I had recoreded a very important conversation for 1hr 6mins via snipping tool, I did see the lenght of the recording as well while saving it. But when I went back to listen to the recording I see it has recorded only for 16mins.. Could you please help recover. I did follow the steps of going to %LOCALAPPDATA%\Packages\Microsoft.ScreenSketch_8wekyb3d8bbwe\TempState. Here also I see it is 16mins only.
