How do I get Windows 11 to detect my CD drive?

2024-06-12T13:25:10+00:00 Check that the CD drive is being detected in the bios screen if not then check cables are correcting attached to the CD and to the Motherboard.
If the bios is detecting the CD drive then sound like software installation issue or corrupt operating system is occurring.
If its external CD drive ensure you are using the correct USB port and type.
Now if its software for CD determine the CD drive type and model locate its software and install it.
if after you try all this check to ensure its not faulty Cable or CD Drive unit by taking it to another computer and checking it that way.
