Cd drive not detected in windows 11

just did update, but says my pc is not windows 11 ready

Answers:

1. I have tried 2 CD drives and get the same problem
2. This is an external CD drive
3. This happens (after 2-3 days) with or without new programs and updates.
4. The CD drive does not show up on the computer at all and running the device search shows nothing.
5. The CD drive is not listed
6. The CD drive(s) - different manufacturers - works after resetting the computer to "factory setting" - for a limited amount of time

In Windows 11 there is NO "Update &Security". There is "Windows Update" and "Privacy & security that are separate.

Major mistakes like that prove you are a **** and NO suggestions you provide can be trusted.
