How do I get Windows 11 to detect my CD drive?

    HP Super Multi DVD Writer, Model: GUD1N. DVD player and iTunes say no drive detected. In device manager it shows cd-rom drive but no details. I don'thave another PC to test it on. Also at times it doesn't even eject. And finally I've only installed windows updates

    The Internal DVD Writer is listed in BIOS if that's any help

    How long have you owned your computer? If it's new or has never been used before have you checked what region it is set for? See example image below. Click on, tap, or activate image to enlarge it. Under the General tab what do you see? Does it show it is working properly?
