I am also getting error 131! I only get the error when i connect my Lexar SD card reader and it uses default microsoft drivers. I starts to disconnected and reconnect and when i watch the logs then i see error 131 telling me failed meta information stored, result=0x80070490 for container {76228A7B-94CE-F642-A323-A9E3BE8D71C8}. I have scanned the windows version for corrupt files and all seems well so i dont know what is causing this.

    Hey BILLPothen,

Could you please share what's the value of parameter "DeviceMetadataServiceURL" in following registry location:

    "Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Device Metadata"

And, FWIW, as suddenly as these all started, they are gone now.
