My printer has worked fine until a month or two. Since then it keeps going offline. I have updated software drivers etc. I need to poke around with troubleshooters etc every time to get it to work. It's then fine for that session but the problem comes back every time i turn it off. Is there any solution to this?

I also noticed that if my printer (Epson ET-5180) is just connected to the USB, it never goes offline. When I activated the wireless so that I could print from my laptop, the printer started going offline.

As a Windows 10 user I don't have KB5051987. But I do have KB5051974. Both issued at the same time, so are they the same? The update probably occurred at at the same time the problem started. Since then KB5056306 has installed. Would I need to remove both updates?

Removing KB5051974 and all successors seems to have done the trick, not forgetting to pause updates to stop it coming back. But with W10 going out of support later this year thats not a problem
