Printer keeps going "offline" Windows 11

My printer has worked fine until a month or two. Since then it keeps going offline. I have updated software drivers etc. I need to poke around with troubleshooters etc every time to get it to work. It's then fine for that session but the problem comes back every time i turn it off. Is there any solution to this?

    UPDATE: My problem is solved, although I don't know why it happened suddenly since I'd made no changes in my system settings.
    Solution: Settings --> Network & internet --> WiFi --><Name of my WiFi network> --> Private network

    It had been set to Public network (Recommended) which MS says to do for a home network. When I changed it to Private network the printer no longer disconnects when I power down the computer. Now...I don't remember how or when it was set to a Public network, but this is how I found it. The setting worked OK until a recent Win 11 update. Now my network is a Private network and I'll keep an eye on it after upcoming updates. Hope this helps someone.

    I don't have Norton, and it stills happens. Glad you could fix yours. I have Bitdefender and it was fine until one of those updates.

    Same problem, every time I disconnect from the dock I have to reboot the laptop with the printer ON in order to reconnect to it. This is a Windows 11 issue as I never had this problem until forcibly upgraded to 11.

    I have two printers and two computers on my home network. About two-three months ago I found that after I power down my computer at night and boot up the next day, one of the printers, a late model Brother inkjet, remains off-line. The other, an Epson photographic printer, remains online. I've followed all advice found here and elsewhere, and nothing works. I am confident it comes from a Microsoft update but don't know which one. Am currently running Win 11 V. 23H2 (OS build 22631.3591). Both of my printer drivers are the latest.

    Maybe Microsoft should us AI to find out where the problem is?
