How to Unlock a Device Locked Using Find my Device in the Microsoft Account

I have a Windows 11 laptop. I inadvertently locked the laptop when I logged into my Microsoft Account and it showed the device was located in a different part of the Country from where I am located. After locking the device, I realized it was my personal laptop (in my possession, not where it was shown to be on the map). I am now trying to unlock it but cannot locate anywhere in my online Microsoft Account where to do so. My user pin and fingerprint aren't being recognized. Can anyone help?

    I locked my laptop through find my device from my phone...and unfortunately I unlinked my microsoft account from the laptop through phone...now I'm unable to unlock...could you please help me 🙏🏻

    I got to step five and got the error message that "this process cannot be completed because this process is currently running in another process" or something like that. Do you know what this error message can mean?

    GOD BLESS YOU RYAN!! I followed your instructions but with a one tweak. Here's what I did:

    Windows D)> windows > system32 > config > software > 1234 > Microsoft > WindowsNT > CurrentVersion > PasswordLess > Device.  Double click "DevicePasswordBuildVersion" from window beside file directory. Change value data from '2' to '0'.

    Again, thank you so much, we were told we'd have we would have to get the SSD removed and put into another computer in order to recover the files. So thank you so much for saving us the stress. So then I posted the solution that I used just in case
