How to Unlock a Device Locked Using Find my Device in the Microsoft Account

I have a Windows 11 laptop. I inadvertently locked the laptop when I logged into my Microsoft Account and it showed the device was located in a different part of the Country from where I am located. After locking the device, I realized it was my personal laptop (in my possession, not where it was shown to be on the map). I am now trying to unlock it but cannot locate anywhere in my online Microsoft Account where to do so. My user pin and fingerprint aren't being recognized. Can anyone help?

    When I lock my computer via Find My device, now, I am unable to open it. It shows me an error and administrator had restricted sign in to sign in. Make sure your device is connected to the internet and have your administrator sign in first even my Wi-Fi is connected, then also I am unable to login into my computer.

    I followed both Ryan's and your detailed explanations and got to the point where I have the sign-in options but when I entered my microsoft account password, it keeps saying that the password is incorrect even though it is correct. I even tried resetting my password and it still says it's incorrect. Is there another solution to this?

    I was having the same issue and this is what I found and it worked for me

    Go to HKey local machine-file-load hive - at the drop-down you want to select where your windows install drive is most computers are local disk drive c that's what my is so I select local disk drive c - windows - system 32 -config-Software-then select open-key name 1 2 3 4 then proceed with the rest of the steps that Ryan posted. It worked for me I hope it works for you
