The issue is agnostic to the laptop manufacturer. It is a bug in the Camera Sensor OV02C10 driver version 64.22000.0.10 and Intel AVStream Camera driver version 64.25982.13.15388, both published by Intel.

The Camera Sensor OV02C10 driver version 63.22000.0.12 and Intel AVStream Camera driver version 63.22000.3.12997 together correct the problems described in this thread. Both drivers must be downgraded together. Downgrading just the Camera Sensor driver will allow the camera to be detected, but the video cannot be processed unless the AVStream Camera driver is also downgraded.

I happened to have a Samsung Galaxy Book 3 Pro 360, but I believe any laptop using the Omnivision OC02C010 camera sensor will have the issue described in this thread if they are using the latest drivers published by Intel. Most people do not update drivers from the time they purchase a laptop. I subscribe to Norton Driver Updater and after these drivers were updated, my camera could not be detected. Rolling the Camera Sensor driver back solved the detection issue, but the video could not be processed. Rolling the AVStream driver back solved that issue.

If you have a different solution, please present it.

The problem is with the 64… drivers for both the Camera Sensor and AVStream Camera. Revert back to the 63… versions and all will be well.
