I've been experiencing an issue with my Philips monitor where the SmartImage feature unpredictably switches to "Racing" mode on its own. Despite manually disabling this setting, it often reactivates itself multiple times until it finally remains off, only to recur upon restarting my PC or monitor. This problem emerged just last week, despite my having used this new PC and monitor setup for nearly a year without any similar issues. I've meticulously reviewed most of the accessible settings without identifying any that could be causing this behavior. Additionally, I've explored the monitor's on-screen menu but found nothing that explains the automatic switch to "Racing" mode, leading me to suspect it might be related to a setting on my PC. However, I've yet to pinpoint exactly what could be triggering this. If anyone has insights or suggestions on how to resolve this, your advice would be immensely valuable. I think the monitor's behavior is somehow controlled by Windows and maybe it changed with Windows' latest updates:

I hope they solve this soon, because it's quite annoying to try to set the desired SmartImage settings and then the system resets them after a couple of seconds.

The behavior of the monitor is usually affected by the graphics driver.
Try checking for available restore points or system updates or driver updates that can be uninstalled.
I tried updating the graphics card's driver and the BIOS, but the problem still came up after launching Windows 11 Professional. I tried several things and nothing worked. So, at a certain point I decided to activate Windows Insider and chose the beta channel. After a few hours of downloading and installing the latest updates, the problem seems to have disappeared. So this would confirm my theory that a Windows update caused the change in the monitor's behavior.
same monitor as you and same issue but mine switches between gamer2 and low blue light mode... its been like this for a while, and today its started switching nonstop for like 5 mins before it stuck to gamer 2... problem is that if i change it to something else it freaks out again
