Monitor settings randomly change

I've been experiencing an issue with my Philips monitor where the SmartImage feature unpredictably switches to "Racing" mode on its own. Despite manually disabling this setting, it often reactivates itself multiple times until it finally remains off, only to recur upon restarting my PC or monitor. This problem emerged just last week, despite my having used this new PC and monitor setup for nearly a year without any similar issues. I've meticulously reviewed most of the accessible settings without identifying any that could be causing this behavior. Additionally, I've explored the monitor's on-screen menu but found nothing that explains the automatic switch to "Racing" mode, leading me to suspect it might be related to a setting on my PC. However, I've yet to pinpoint exactly what could be triggering this. If anyone has insights or suggestions on how to resolve this, your advice would be immensely valuable. Thank you in advance for your help.

I have the same problem! Resetting PC fixed it for a short time, but now the problem is back. The problem came after i left my monitor working for 3 hours. Same as the last time when the problem came.

Thank you for your prompt response.

Due to my somewhat unreliable memory, I can't be entirely certain if any updates were implemented since I set them to automate. However, to the best of my recollection, I don't recall witnessing any updates occurring during my computer usage.

Interestingly, when I booted the PC in safe mode, the issue didn't manifest, even after a considerable wait period. Additionally, upon inspecting the event viewer, I did observe some noteworthy entries.

Under "Windows Logs" -> "System," there are two information logs both stating: "A caller specified the SDC_FORCE_MODE_ENUMERATION flag in a call to the SetDisplayConfig() API." Notably, these entries coincide with the occurrence of the problem.

Moreover, in the "Administrative Events" section, I encountered errors such as: "Metadata staging failed, result=(result here) for container '(container here).'"

While I'm uncertain if further information is required, please don't hesitate to request additional details, and I'll gladly provide them.
