Hello! I recently updated my Windows 10 to Windows 11. However, the taskbar size is too small, and I have followed various methods to fix it but to no avail. Can you please help me fix this issue?

Hi there, I am John J.D., a fellow Microsoft user like you.

I understand your concern, and I'm here to help. There's no direct setting to resize the taskbar in Windows 11, however, you can adjust your display scale to make it more comfortable for you. Simply go to Settings (Win + I key) > System > Display. Under "Scale & layout," adjust the Scale value to the recommended or slightly higher setting. Try testing different scale percentages one at a time until you find the one that suits you best.

Let me know how it goes.

    John J.D.

I have same issue. Unable to make Taskbar smaller. Registry update with "TaskbarSi" DOES NOT work anymore. This chap you had been talking to is useless, I am glad he did not recommend you to re-install Windows :-).

No solution so far has been found.

I'd like to be able to resize the Taskbar so that the Icons wrap around and show on two lines - as in Windows 10.

Microsoft must be aware by now that this is an issue affecting users!

Why would I want to scale the display??? I want to resize the *TASKBAR*. Two different things.

I, and probably everyone else here, wants to increase the size to show more open programs within the taskbar, but not increase the size of font and everything else on the monitor's screen.
