I've also got mine on Wi-Fi (which does seem to have solved the problem) but I wanted to post that other method of inhibiting the printing of "GET /eSCL/ScannerStatus HJTTP/1.1 Host: localhost" to other folks who have to use a USB cable. At the end of the day, Microsoft should get this annoying problem solved.
GET /eSCL/ScannerStatus HTTP/1.1The question is how do I stop it.
My printer is prompted to print this at the top of pages, usually from drawer #2 which is envelopes. I have an Epson WF-4740. The information on line indicates that this is an across the board problem. I have contacted Epson and they say it is a Microsoft problem. To date I have tried every suggested fix but nothing stops it. Extremely frustrating!!!!
End.
