GET /eSCL/ScannerStatus HTTP/1.1The question is how do I stop it.

My printer is prompted to print this at the top of pages, usually from drawer #2 which is envelopes. I have an Epson WF-4740. The information on line indicates that this is an across the board problem. I have contacted Epson and they say it is a Microsoft problem. To date I have tried every suggested fix but nothing stops it. Extremely frustrating!!!!

End.

The suggestion to remove the USB connection and only use printer over the network worked for me. Windows 11. Just wanted to report back and say thanks, as I was struggling and that did it!

I removed the USB cable and installed the WIFI for my Epson ET-3710 printer. I went to www.epson.com/support/ET3710 and followed the installation. So far my printer hasn't printed out: GET /eSCL/ScannerStatus HJTTP/1.1 Host: localhost

    Hopefully it is now fixed?

I also have this problem on a Brother MFC-L-8900CDW. It is very annoying as I do a lot of single page, two-sided printing (I print something out, someone takes it away, makes notes, brings it back and I print out the results on the back). The only solution I have found is, when the printer wakes up, hit the Delete Print button (red X) before sending the print page over. It's worked so far but Microsoft do need to pull their finger out @Edward@microsoft and get this problem fixed.

My Epson ET-3710 is now fixed by going to WIFI and getting off the USB cable.

I have the same issue with an Epson WF Pro 3820. Very irritating! My son suggested just turn it off until you want to print color again.

I also have a HP LaserJet Pro MFP M426fdw with no issues that I use for everyday standard printing.
